Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Founders Cup — a premier Doubles Tennis Tournament in The Woodlands. This community-wide event celebrates the enduring legacy of our founders and their dedication to the sport of tennis. Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, as we come together to honor the strong tennis tradition that continues to unite and inspire our community. The Founders Cup showcases the energy, connection, and passion for the game that thrive across The Woodlands courts. 

Grab your partner and get ready for an unforgettable day of tennis. The Founders Cup is a doubles teams event, open to players of all skill levels ages 16 and older. Each team of two will compete in round-robin doubles matches spread across 70+ tennis courts in every village of The Woodlands.

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three pro set matches, with the top performers advancing to the semi-finals and finals at the Bear Branch Tennis Complex. Every participant will receive a commemorative shirt and swag as a keepsake of this exciting community event.

Volunteer Opportunity: Court Monitor – The Founders Cup 2026

Join us for a day of tennis, community, and celebration as a Tennis Court Monitor Volunteer at the 3rd Annual Founders Cup! 

This is a great opportunity to be part of a premier community event that brings together tennis players from across The Woodlands for a full day of friendly doubles competition. 

Volunteer Responsibilities Include: 

• Submitting match scores to the tournament team 
•  Assisting players with court assignments and general questions 
•  Reporting any issues or concerns to the Tournament Coordinator 
•  Supporting a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all participants 

Court Monitors will be stationed at tennis courts throughout The Woodlands and serve as the on-site point of contact for players. No tennis experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm, communication skills, and ability to stay organized!

Shifts Available: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Volunteers must be 16 or older.
